‘Wages’ at Mipcom

Next week, Osiris Entertainment will be heading to Mipcom, in Cannes, France, with Little Dog Productions’ feature film WAGES OF SIN. Mipcom is the leading market for worldwide distribution across all media platforms.

WAGES OF SIN, a thriller set in the 1960s, stars Lauren Martin, Travis Quentin Young and Katharine Everett. The film was written and produced by Sam Ingraffia and Doug Burch. Directed by Doug Burch.

“Wages of Sin” L.A. Screening

3 Days in L.A. at MIFF

3 Days in L.A.” (directed by Marco Capalbo) has been selected to be screened at the MIFF awards going on this week in L.A. MIFF (from English acronym for Milan International Film Festival) has been nicknamed by the press as the “Milanese Sundance” and is a hybrid between a film festival and an awards ceremony. “3 Days in L.A.,” in which Katharine Everett played a supporting role, received three nominations–Best Directing, Best Editing, and Best Acting Performance Female–and won for Best Acting Performance Female.

The film screens for the public this Wednesday night @ 10:15 p.m. at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, 1023 Hilgard Avenue, Westwood.

The Social Network

Yesterday, I attended the cast & crew screening of The Social Network with my husband, Toby Meuli, who plays a supporting role in the film. I’ve been so excited to see it, and my expectations were blown away! We both thought the film was superbly written, directed, and acted!

You don’t wanna miss this one. It opens Friday, Oct. 1.

“Propel” to screen at the New Filmmakers LA Screening Series

“Prope,” a film by Jay Gammill and featuring Katharine Everett, will be screened at the New Filmmakers L.A. Screening Series. The event takes place on Tuesday, June 30th at the Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. The screenings begin at 8:45PM, and an audience Q&A session with a few of the directors (Jay included) will be begin around 10:PM. A reception is to follow. Admittance is $5.

BURBANK, Calif. – Nearly 80 filmmaking teams have finished the race. They have created a 10-minute film, in only a week’s time, based on the theme “Free the Captives.” For this annual contest prompts are given at random to each team, which then has exactly 168 hours (one week) to make a film. The deadline was 9:00 PM Wednesday, March 12th.

At the glitzy red carpet affair, the 168 Film Fest will award 20+ categories such as Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Documentary etc. Winners will get $10,000 in cash and prizes awarded April 12th at the Awards Show at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA. “168” Sponsor Sony will provide XDCAM HD decks for festival playback in Hi-Definition.
