168 Film Festival Info.

BURBANK, Calif. – Nearly 80 filmmaking teams have finished the race. They have created a 10-minute film, in only a week’s time, based on the theme “Free the Captives.” For this annual contest prompts are given at random to each team, which then has exactly 168 hours (one week) to make a film. The deadline was 9:00 PM Wednesday, March 12th.

At the glitzy red carpet affair, the 168 Film Fest will award 20+ categories such as Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Documentary etc. Winners will get $10,000 in cash and prizes awarded April 12th at the Awards Show at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA. “168” Sponsor Sony will provide XDCAM HD decks for festival playback in Hi-Definition.

The 168 Film Festival is in Glendale, CA on Friday, April 11th at the United Community Church Auditorium and Saturday, April 12th at the Alex Theatre. For tickets and more information, contact http://www.168project.com, 818-557-8507 or the Alex Theatre at www.AlexTheatre.org or call 818-243-ALEX.
